Hi Keelerman, I tried to post this on Unlocking Winners in case any people are interested, but it seems the thread is closed.
Lady Cecil’s final ever runner before retirement goes in Race 6 at Woodbine on Sunday. This horse is a ML 20/1 which is a massive mistake. True odds should be around 13/2 so anything around 10/1 or upwards represents tremendous value (of course, that’s not the same thing as a guaranteed winner). This is the best horse in the race on Racing Post Ratings. Unraced at 2yo he has improved in each of his five runs this season and as a 3yo receives weight all round today. He acts on Polytrack (third to Britain’s best 9/10f Polytrack horse last time out) and also trains on it.
obviously there are no guarantees, but this one appears to have been lined up for a huge effort. I shall be backing it win and show in a ratio of roughly 2:1.
