The four-time graded stakes winner Mohaymen, who most recently finished fourth as the favorite in the Florida Derby (gr. I) at Gulfstream Park, arrived at Churchill Downs on April 17th to prepare for a start in the May 7th Kentucky Derby (gr. I).

Trained by Kiaran McLaughlin, the son of Tapit arrived at Churchill following a van ride from Florida, where he has been based throughout the winter. He has settled down in Barn 42, which has been the home of four Kentucky Derby winners since 2000: Monarchos (2001), Smarty Jones (2004), Barbaro (2006), and Mine That Bird (2009). According to Marty McGee of the Daily Racing Form, Mohaymen could turn in his first workout at Churchill Downs on Wednesday.
